Resources · Grant check

EDGE grant checker for app and software projects in Singapore

Answer a few questions. We’ll tell you which Enterprise Singapore grant your project looks like, and whether we can build it.

Free, about three minutes, and you keep a PDF brief for your co-founder or accountant. We’ve built systems for clients’ EDG grant projects, so this comes from the vendor’s side of the table.

About EDGE

The Enterprise Singapore EDGE grant, in brief

  • It replaced EDG, PSG and MRA. Since 30 September 2026, new applications go under the EDGE grant. Existing projects continue under the old schemes.
  • It covers eight business areas and over 150 activities, including digitalisation, innovation, automation and internationalisation.
  • Support is up to 70% for SMEs and up to 50% for non-SMEs overall, and it varies by activity. Each activity page sets its own level.
  • There is a yearly cap of S$100,000 per company, shared across activities and refreshed on 1 April.
  • You need at least 30% Singaporean or PR ownership and a business registered and operating in Singapore.
  • Don’t start work, or pay a deposit, before you apply. Support is paid as reimbursement once the work is finished and fully paid for.

Funded builds

Systems we have built for clients’ EDG grant projects

Client · YPI Water

YPI Water ran a national plumbing and maintenance business on pen and paper, WhatsApp, shared drives and fax. We built them one system: team, customers, sites, maintenance records and workflows, on desktop and on the phones in the vans. Paperwork hours gone, every file findable, and the six-monthly maintenance round planned from the same screen the daily jobs run on.

YPI applied for Enterprise Singapore grant support for the project, and we built it as their vendor. So when we say the framing matters, it’s because we’ve worked through a funded project from the vendor’s side. There has been one more before it, which we keep unnamed.

FAQ

Questions about Fund Your Build

Is Fund Your Build free?

Yes. It takes about three minutes, and you can download a PDF brief at the end. There is no newsletter, and nothing is charged.

Will a good result mean I get the grant?

No. Only Enterprise Singapore decides. This tool tells you which EDGE activity your project looks like, what to avoid, and how to prepare. It is general information, not advice.

Can you apply for the grant for me?

No. Enterprise Singapore says third parties cannot apply for or manage the grant on a company's behalf, so the company has to apply itself. We can help you scope the project, write outcomes and prepare a vendor scope for your application.

Can I start building before I apply?

No. Enterprise Singapore requires that you have not started work or made any payment or deposit to a supplier before the application is submitted.

What happens to my answers and contact details?

They come to Darren, the founder, so he can reply within 3 working days. They are not sold and there is no newsletter. See our privacy policy for the details.

How current is the information?

We checked it against Enterprise Singapore's published EDGE pages on 27 October 2026. Rules, rates and caps change and differ by activity, so confirm with Enterprise Singapore before you apply.
