Websites in Singapore: cost, timeline and who to hire

A business website in Singapore typically costs from S$8,000 for a base build, S$15,000 to 20,000 for an elevated brand site, and S$25,000 to 60,000 at enterprise scale. A brochure site takes about 4 to 6 weeks and a store 6 to 10.

Where you land in those ranges depends on how many pages you need, how custom the design is, what the site connects to, and who writes the content.

The three tiers

TierTypical cost (S$)What it usually means
Basefrom 8,000A clear brochure site or basic store, built on a proven platform, an editable CMS, mobile-ready, set up so Google can read it
Elevated15,000 to 20,000Fully custom design for a brand that competes on look and feel, richer page types, booking or enquiry flows, a store that supports a premium brand
Enterprise25,000 to 60,000Multi-market or multi-team sites, integrations with your systems, strict performance and security requirements, heavier governance

What moves the price

  • Pages and page types. Ten near-identical pages cost less than five different kinds of page.
  • Custom design versus a template. Custom design is where elevated sites spend their budget, and it is where a brand wins or loses trust.
  • Integrations. Payments, booking, CRM, inventory or member logins each add build and test time.
  • Content. If you supply finished copy and images, the build is faster. If we write and source it, plan for that.
  • Speed to launch. Fixed scope and fast decisions on your side keep the timeline at the low end.

Timeline

A brochure site typically goes live in 4 to 6 weeks and an online store in 6 to 10 weeks, if feedback comes within a few days each round. Delays almost always come from late content and slow approvals, not from the build.

What you pay after launch

Budget for hosting, security updates, backups and small changes. Most sites need a care plan, or an in-house person with the time to do this. Ask any studio what is included before you sign.

How to choose a studio

  1. Ask to see launches, not only designs, and open them on your phone.
  2. Ask who owns the code, the domain and the accounts after launch. It should be you.
  3. Ask for a fixed scope and a fixed price per phase.
  4. Ask who you will talk to every week.
  5. Ask what happens when something breaks after launch.

Frequently asked questions

From S$8,000 for a base build. Elevated brand sites run S$15,000 to 20,000, and enterprise sites S$25,000 to 60,000.

How long does it take to build a website?

About 4 to 6 weeks for a brochure site and 6 to 10 weeks for a store, assuming timely content and approvals.
